December Board Meeting and Local Officer Training School
Posted in Board Meetings on October 10th, 2009 by Jeff – Comments OffThe Board of Directors will meet on December 5th at 10:00 am in Little Rock for its final meeting of 2009. A Local Officer Training School (LOTS) will also be held in conjunction with this meeting for incoming 2010 officers.

Attendees are asked to register for this event by visiting this page. There is not expected to be any charge for attending the LOTS.
At this Board Meeting, amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws will be considered, including a proposed increase in the amount of dues payed by chapters to the Arkansas Jaycees per member. A detailed list of proposed changes is attached to this post. Please take time to familiarize yourself and your chapter with this information.

Jaycee Mission Week: October 11-17

Attached to this post you’ll find an information sheet for US Jaycees Mission Week. Mission Week this year is October 11-17. Mission Week is an excellent opportunity to both promote your chapter and the ideals of the organization. Each day of the week is themed around one of the stanzas of the Jaycee Creed.

2009 Annual Meeting Details
Posted in Board Meetings on July 17th, 2009 by Jeff – Comments OffThe 2009 Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Junior Chamber will be on August 21-23, 2009 at the Holiday Inn in Jonesboro. The election of the 2010 Executive Committee will take place at this meeting and amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws will be offered.
Early bird registration is open through August 7 and is $60.00. After the Seventh, registration will be $65.00. Registration is available online and you can either pay by credit card/PayPal, mail a check, or pay at the door. Please register online here.
Lodging can be arranged by calling the Holiday Inn at (870) 935-2030 and make sure to mention that you are with the Arkansas Jaycees to receive the discount rate of $79.99 per night.
